For almost four decades, my world revolved around exquisite fabrics, intricate lace, hand-sewn pearls, and creating one-of-a-kind wedding gowns. Every stitch mattered. Every detail had to be perfect because each dress represented one of the most important days in someone’s life.

It was an incredible journey that allowed me to dress brides, celebrities, hockey royalty, and even a princess or two. Fashion gave me unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to create for a different reason.

I wanted to make art that wasn’t measured by perfection. I wanted to experiment, play, and embrace happy accidents instead of fixing them.

That’s how Heartfelt Workshops was born.

Today, my studio is filled with paint, paper, texture, laughter, and people discovering that they are far more creative than they ever imagined.

Leaving couture wasn’t leaving creativity behind—it was simply discovering a new way to share it.

Sometimes the best adventures begin when you trade certainty for curiosity.
